Thanks to a photovoltaic system consisting of 200 solar panels, we have been able to optimise energy consumption and produce 30% of our total consumption ourselves.

SEPARATE WASTE COLLECTION
Waste is separated in the entire building so it can be disposed of and recycled appropriately.

BUILDING CERTIFICATION
We have obtained energy and environmental certification for the whole building (class C), with extremely low greenhouse gas emissions (CO2) into the atmosphere.

ELECTRICITY CONSUMPTION
In 2020 we installed a new building lighting system to reduce electricity consumption by 40% compared with the previous system.

RECYCLING
We are strong believers in recycling to give new life to packaging materials. The company's aim is to curb the production of new plastic and focus on sustainability.

PACKAGING
We opt for recycled paper for secondary packaging, which is obtained from the pulp of recycled waste and is 100% recyclable.

USE OF PLASTIC
In the last two years we have started to reduce our use of plastic, by decreasing the thickness of materials used to package our products. Furthermore, specifically for the sandwich line, we have chosen trays containing up to 50% of recycled plastic.

PAPER ORIGIN
All paper ID labels on packs will soon be completely recyclable and obtained from sustainable sources certified by the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council). Water-based, low-migration inks are used to provide consumers with a guarantee and to safeguard the environment.
